I am so pumped for my party tonight…although I have to admit, a bit worried! It’s a special weekend at my school, and therefore security and noise regulations are upped in a major way…I hope we don’t get in trouble :-\
It’d be pretty ironic that my last college party would be the first time I’d be in “trouble” at this school haha
I feel like being risky 😉
Anywho…today was a whirlwind of eats and earands!
I woke up with the sun shining in my window, feeling refreshed, took a look at the clock…6 AM!!?? What the heck!? I’m naturally an early-bird, but this was just a bit too early for my taste! I tried to go back to sleep, but couldn’t (excitement!?) so I decided to take advantage and get a head start on my hectic day.
I headed outside around 6:45 am for a nice jog! I jogged/walked about 3 miles around my campus, and hit up the campus gym at about the halfway point! I stopped my outside jog to do about 25 minutes, level 11 on the elliptical, and some ab exercises! I then continued on my journey back to my apartment!
Total Calories Burned: 567!!! I love high calorie burns!! (Especially on an indulgent party day!)
After a shower, I whipped out my beauty of a b-fast cookie! This thing was huge!! Good thing too, it needed to fuel me for a long time!
Today’s Mixola:
1/2 cup oats
1 big scoop canned pumpkin
1/2 scoop Chocoalte Muscle Milk Protein Powder
1/2 tbsp Mighty Maple, mixed in
1/2 sliced naner
Sprinkle cinna
Sprinkle flax (1 tsp)
1/4 cup skim milk, plus a splash water for liquid
This morning, I spread 1/2 tbsp Mighty Maple on it! This was a big boy, but SO tasty and filling!
I did a phone conference for one of my jobs, got my oil changed (plus another $200 worth of parts…doesn’t that SUCK!?), got my paycheck, went to the bank, and the liquor store. Score, got it all done by 2 pm!!
When I got home I was pretty ravenous, so I whipped up a smallish lunch:
2 microwaved egg whites with Italian seasonings, spinach, and a teeny bit (1/8 cup?) part-skim ricotta cheese
1 English muffin (Thomas’…not my fave anymore, but gotta use ’em up!) with 1 tbsp Polaner All Fruit Strawberry and 1/2 tbsp Smart Balance
A few almost ready to throw out strawberries
Not huge, and I only have one picture, but it was enough for now. Plus two handfuls Peanut M&Ms that I busted into before tonight’s party 😉
I just made up some unhealthy dip for our party tonight (cream cheese, cheddar cheese and salsa involved LOL) and am now relaxing for a bit! 🙂 Dinner will most likely be a little of this, a little of that…pretty unstructured!
